Practical workshop on sowing, cultivation, and nutraceutical processing of small fruits in the Upper Torre Valley.

The experience includes:

  • Sowing and cultivation: variety selection, direct sowing or nursery techniques, soil preparation, sustainable irrigation, biological protection, and growth monitoring
  • Harvesting fruits: recognizing optimal ripeness, manual picking, storage (refrigeration, drying, preservation)
  • Nutraceutical processing: cold extraction, fermentation, gentle freeze-drying, preparation of juices, powders, jams, and natural supplements, sensory and nutritional analysis
  • Consumption education: reading labels, comparing industrial vs. artisanal products, health and microbiota impacts, functional recipes, and guided tasting
  • Additional in-depth insights upon request.

Led by a young, experienced entrepreneur with a hands-on focus on practical techniques and the properties of the fruits.
