During the winter period the Cave can only be visited upon reservation made one week in advance (for groups of at least 8 people).
Guided tours are only available in Italian. However, foreign guests can access audio guides for smartphones (English, German, Slovenian) during the tour, which we recommend downloading before the visit. The visits can include the Church and the Grotto (tourist-naturalistic route), or be limited to the Church alone (prayer area and up to the exhibition area) or to the Grotto alone. To facilitate visitors, the ticket office is open 15 minutes before the opening of the Cave.
