For schools in Italy: On the MEPA portal, the CON TE Viaggi agency, in cooperation with DMO Turismo Benečija, offers 3-day, 2-night stays for middle and high schools (secondary and high school).
This itinerary aims to immerse you in the mountainous nature of the Torre Valley, which is located within the Julian Pre-Alps Natural Park in the province of Udine. It represents an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility, natural beauty and an authentic experience of the Julian Pre-Alps.
Day 1 - arrival at rifugio Pian dei Ciclamini
Morning arrival at rifugio Pian dei Ciclamini in Lusevera.
Meeting with the nature guide and departure along the “Valle Musi” Nature Trail, renowned for its natural beauty, breathtaking views and the opportunity to explore the rich biodiversity of the region. This is an ideal hike for nature lovers who wish to immerse themselves in the alpine environment.
Packed lunch along the way (provided by the Refuge).
In the afternoon, visit to a farm that is dedicated to sustainable agricultural production and the enhancement of products that can be tasted locally and is distinguished by its commitment to promoting the agricultural and culinary traditions of the valley, offering high quality products and authentic experiences to visitors.
At the end snack with products from the farm. Return to the refuge and dinner.
In-depth evening on wildlife. Overnight stay.
Day 2 - the Torre Valley
Breakfast dinner and overnight stay in the refuge.
Depart with the nature guide for the hike along the “geological trail” that allows you to explore the geological and naturalistic riches of the region. This trail offers hikers the opportunity to learn more about the geology of the Julian Alps, observing rock outcrops, karst phenomena and other unique geological features.
Packed lunch along the trail (provided by the Refuge).
Afternoon visit Great War Museum in Kobarid, an important institution located in the town of Kobarid (Caporetto), Slovenia. This museum is mainly dedicated to World War I and the battles that took place in the area, with special emphasis on the famous Battle of Kobarid. The museum is a landmark for those who wish to understand the military, social and cultural history of the region during that tumultuous period.
Return to the refuge in the late afternoon
Day 3 - the Torre Valley
Breakfast and lunch at the refuge.
Visit Cold War Bunker with guides. Fortified structure built primarily during the Cold War period (1947-1991) as part of civil and military defense strategies against possible nuclear war or other attacks. These bunkers were designed to provide atomic and other types of attack protection.
Individual fee per person starting from:

The fee includes:
- Accommodation at rifugio Pian dei Ciclamini in multiple rooms with shared outdoor bathroom (bed and bath linens not provided, see possible supplement)
