Recreational hike on the occasion of the closure of the trails in Stolvizza/Solbica
Sunday, October 27, in Stolvizza will close the well-known trails that throughout the summer have been attended by numerous hikers; a success that, again this year, has arisen for the Vivistolvizza Association, which has always been very committed to the care of the various trails: "Ta lipa pot", "Il sentiero di Matteo", "Pusti Gost sulle tracce del passato", "P4 della grande guerra"; "Vertical Kilometer", "Stolvizza facile" and "Ta na rado" which have become destinations of many passionate walkers.
Program:
- At 8:30 am (standard time!) at Piazza dell’Arrotino: registration and start of the guided hike with local volunteers and a guide from the Julian Pre-Alps Park along a trail of your choice. The event will also mark the conclusion of “Pink Month” all about breast cancer prevention and research.
Side program:
- At 9:00/10:00 am: "Affiliamo/Let's Sharpen” by expert Knife Sharpeners available to sharpen scissors and knives that can be collected at the end of the walk and also possibility to visit with a guide, the "Knife Grinder's museum” and the “Museum of the Resian People”, but also take a short hike, always accompanied, to discover the most picturesque corners of the village.
- At 12:00/12:30 at Piazza del Museo dell’Arrotino: refreshment for all with the “Bruschetta dell'amicizia” and conclusion with a cheerful “Castagnata” accompanied by the engaging Resian dance and the characteristic music created by the two traditional musical instruments “Citira” and “Buncula” played by young people from Stolvizza/Solbica.
