A walk through history and nature along the Judrio River — the only river in Italy that marks a national border.
We’ll cross two bridges between Italy and Slovenia, reflecting on borderland stories, historic eras, and boundaries meant to be crossed.

Program

  • 8.30 am Meeting point, breakfast, and introduction at Centro Studi Podresca
  • 9.00 am Start of the walk: Britof–Molino Vecchio and Clinaz bridges, with stops for historical, natural, and literary storytelling
  • 1.00 pm Return to Podresca/Podarskije and refreshment break
  • 2.00 pm Visit to the village
  • 2.45 pm “Bridges of Words” workshop with Silvana Tiani
  • 4.00 pm Conclusion

Details

  • Path: 10 km round trip, 130 m elevation gain, paved road – approx. 3h30 with stops
  • Difficulty: low, although good fitness is recommended
  • Shuttle available (limited seats – please request when booking)
  • Costs: 20 € per person (includes breakfast, refreshment, drinks, and optional transportation)
  • Dogs are welcome if well-behaved
  • Reservation required
