On Saturday, 6 September at 7:00 PM at the Grotta D'Antro/Landarska jama, writers Paolo Morganti and Stefania Conte, inspired by the beauty of the place, its ancient history and artistic and folkloric heritage, poured their hearts into the novels ‘L'inganno dell'alchimista’ (The Alchemist's Deception), Flo dei Folletti (Flo of the Elves) and La porta dell'inganno (The Door of Deception), drawing inspiration from the beauty of the place, its ancient history and artistic and folkloric heritage. The writers will begin their story with a description of the cave, inhabited since Neolithic times and transformed into a Roman fort and refuge, with a chapel dedicated to Santa Maria Antiqua inside and another chapel dedicated to St John the Baptist and the Evangelist next to it, bearing solar and Christian symbols. A crossroads of Italic and Slavic peoples, in folklore and narrative imagination it is also a place where goblins and krivapete appear: from here, the writers will recount the plots of their novels. Accompanying the writers and enriching their words with wonderful musical suggestions will be cellist Andrea Bitai.
