Winter route on the slopes of Montemaggiore in the MAB UNESCO area – Julian Prealps, to discover the sources of the Natisone/Nadiža and Cornappo/Karnahta rivers, and to observe the traces of the Periadriatic fault immersed in the wild forests along the border with Slovenia.

What to bring: winter mountain hiking gear (crampons and trekking poles if needed), water/hot drink, and snacks.
Participants: Min. 5 - max. 15 people.
Language: Italian.
Requirements: suitable physical preparation for a hiking-level (ESCURSIONISTICA) outing. Minors must be accompanied by parents.
