Moonlight walk to the top of Matajur with Polisportiva Monte Matajur
- Elevation gain: about 600 m
- Difficulty: medium, physical preparation required.
- Minimum age of participants: 12 years (minors must be accompanied by an adult).
- Limited number of spots.
Wearing a headlamp and proper technical mountain clothing is mandatory (including footwear — to be clear, no sneakers). Trekking poles are strongly recommended but not mandatory. Crampons are recommended!
This year, the final dinner will take place at Agriturismo Péstrofa in Cedron (near the Savogna sports field). Seating is limited, so advance booking is REQUIRED. The menu is listed below.
MENU:
- First course: Vegetable and legume soup
- Second course: Goulash with polenta
- Dessert: Tiramisù
- Included drinks: Water and wine
Program:
- 4:30 p.m. Meeting in Savogna (UD) at Bar Crisnaro for payment of fees (registrations are done through the form whose link is attached below).
- 5:30 p.m. Transfer by own means to the village of Montemaggiore/Matajur.
- 6:00 p.m. Departure from Montemaggiore/Matajur.
- Approximately 9:30 p.m. Return to the cars and dinner in Cedron (for those who have booked).
Participation fee:
- 15 € accompanied walk + refreshments at the top.
- 35 € accompanied walk, refreshments at the top and dinner at the farm stay.
The fee should be paid on the day of the hike at the registration point at Bar Crisnaro.
