A tea ceremony experience as a practice of presence, preceded by a short walk in nature inspired by Shinrin Yoku. After slowing down and listening in the forest, participants enter the tea house with a more grounded body and a quieter mind.
Before the preparation, a Zen koan is shared—something to sit with and inhabit rather than analyze. The ceremony unfolds in a simple, essential form, with slow and mindful gestures, culminating in the sharing of warm tea as an act of care and hospitality, in respect of the Japanese tradition. Space is limited and participation is by reservation only.
