On Sunday, March 22, 2026, for World Water Day, the Val Resia Trails Opening Event will take place in Stolvizza/Solbica.
Free guided hikes will be organized by the Ecomuseum Val Resia, the Julian Prealps Natural Park, and the association Vivistolvizza APS:
- Hike “Storie di Uomini e di Acque” (Stories of men and water) – departure at 8:30 AM from Prato/Ravanca with guide Massimiliano Zuliani.
Registrations:
- Hike “Il Resia, un torrente incontaminato” (The Resia river, an unspoiled stream) – departure at 9:00 AM from Stolvizza/Solbica with guide Alberto Candolini.
Registrations:
- Hike "Sentieri di Stolvizza" (The paths of Stolvizza/Solbica) – departure at 8:30 AM from Stolvizza/Solbica.
Registrations:
Meeting at 12:30 PM in Stolvizza/Solbica for all participants for the traditional “Bruschetta of Friendship”, accompanied by Resian music.
In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled.
