This June, join us for two special events with Dr. Diego Lavaroni, who will present two novels inspired by real historical events from the extraordinary Friulian region.
The first event, on FRIDAY, JUNE 5, will feature a conversation with RAI director Claudia Brugnetta: a journey through medieval mysteries, witches, and benandanti in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
During the second event, on SATURDAY, JUNE 6, together with regional council member Cristian Shaurli, the discussion will focus on a powerful novel set during the Italian Resistance: the story of a seventeen-year-old who chooses to join the Resistance to defend his people and the Friulian land.
Both novels weave together storytelling and real historical sources, giving voice to authentic characters and true events.
