Burnjak is an unmissable autumn event to discover one of the symbols of Benečija, the chestnut ('burja' in the local Slovenian dialect), the element around which the festival itself revolves. Burnjak offers the opportunity to taste local roasted chestnuts, meet local craftsmen and producers, and sample traditional Benečija dishes. Framed by the characteristic village of Tribil Superiore (Stregna), this festival features organised hikes and typical local music.
