On Saturday, June 15, the 25th Environment Day will be held in Stolvizza di Resia, in which the village streets will be cleaned up, the grasses in the communal areas will be cut, some particularly degraded areas will be reclaimed, and finally the numerous trails surrounding the village will be cleaned up. Among the latter are the "Ta lipa pot," the "Matthew Trail," the "Great War P4," the "Pusti gost sulle tracce del passato", the "Vertical Kilometer," the "Ta-na-rado," and the "Easy Stolvizza" trail.
Thus, the initiative will also be partly aimed at better accommodating the many hikers who choose the Resia Valley as their weekend destination. Not only that. It is also carried out in view of the scheduled summer events, but above all to make the village welcoming to emigrants returning to Val Resia for the summer period.
The initiative, is organized by the five associations of Stolvizza: CAMA association Arrotini, the A.N.A.; Alpine group "Sella Buia"; "Museum of the Resian People"; Cultural Circle "Rozajaski dum" and Association "Vivistolvizza" which is also the leader.
On this occasion, the organizers also send a message to the many tourists: Respect the environment and, above all, frequent the premises of the Valley, you will be good for the economy and development of a mountain that increasingly needs concrete support.
