The cultural initiative Shakespeare po näs, to be held in the Resia Valley from March 15 to May 4, 2025, aims to offer Shakespeare's most famous works in Resian.
3 weekends, 6 days, 6 Shakespeare plays in a participatory, community-based performance formula:
- March 15 - 16: TheTempest and Hamlet
- April 5 - 6: The Merchant of Venice and Macbeth
- May 3 - 4: The Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet
Each performance will be preceded by a preparatory theater workshop (5 - 6 PM) and an in-depth discussion on William Shakespeare (from 6 PM.).
Location: Casa di Krama (Youth Aggregation Center in Prato di Resia/Ravanca)
A project conceived by KRAMA, MERCANTI DI STORIE in collaboration with TUC Teatro, Wild Routes, and Ricorda, Ritorna, Radica FVG APS - Italea FVG, under the patronage of the Municipality of Resia and the Val Resia Ecomuseum, and with the support of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
