The Municipality of Resia and the Julian Prealps Natural Park Authority inform residents, visitors, and hikers that maintenance work has begun on the Tigo bridge, carried out by a contracted company. To ensure the work can be completed safely, the bridge will be closed for approximately one month.
During this period, the final access point of the Resia/Rezija–Resiutta/Na Bili cycling and hiking route will not be usable and will be temporarily closed along the section affected by the works. Hikers, cyclists, and visitors are therefore asked to take the closure into account when planning their routes and to pay attention to posted signage in the area. Access to the Rio Nero valley and the corresponding mountain hut will remain available from Povici/Ta-na Jïjlo (CAI trail 703/a).
