Allegorical fountain of the 14th Cavalry of Alessandria

Curious fountain in Biacis from 1916 representative of the satire of the time.

The fountain was built by the Alexandria Cavalry Regiment (14th) in 1916 and satirically depicts the effigy of the Habsburg bicuspid eagle and the faces of the sovereigns of the Central Empires. It depicts: Franz Joseph I of Austria (Franz Joseph), Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary, belonging to the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty; Wilhelm II of Prussia and Germany (Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Albrecht von Hohenzollern ), Emperor of Germany and King of Prussia, belonging to the Hohenzollern dynasty Ferdinand I of Bulgaria (Фердинанд I Сакскобургготски, Ferdinand I Sakskoburggotski), Tsar of Bulgaria, belonging to the Saxon-Coburg-Gotha family; Mehmet V (محمد الخامس) , Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and Caliph of Islam, son of Abd-ul-Mejid I.
