Caves as a place of history, myths and legends.
Near Tercimonte, thre are the most important caves in the municipality of Savogna: the Ta Pot Čelan Jama, about 250 metres long, where you can observe ancient rock carvings depicting solar symbols; the Pod Figuozo Jama, which popular legends indicate as inhabited by the Krivapete; the Velika Jama, only 32 metres long but interesting for the discovery of the remains of Ursus Speleus and numerous artefacts dating back to the Neolithic period.
