On Sunday, May 31, the Resia Valley welcomes you to the second edition of ESTREMAMENTE PARCO. This won’t just be a race, but an experience designed to let you fully experience the Resia Valley from the very first to the very last kilometer.

Trail route: 40 km
Elevation gain: 3100 m
Registration fee: 45 €
Awards Ceremony: 6.00 PM

RULES

Race Bib and Race Pack Pickup

From 6.00 AM.

To collect the race bib, athletes must show up in person with a valid ID. The bib will be handed out exclusively to the registered athlete.

No proxies or authorizations are allowed.

Required and Recommended Gear

To deal with the different possible weather conditions on race day, the organizers may, at their sole discretion and based on forecasts provided by the relevant authority, modify the list of required gear. Any changes may be communicated up to 12 hours before the start, so all athletes are advised to have all necessary equipment available.

MANDATORY

  • race backpack to carry required gear
  • at least 1 liter of water
  • cup of at least 15 cl
  • race bib clearly visible for the entire duration of the race.

RECOMMENDED

  • long-sleeve shirt
  • long pants or running tights
  • hat or bandana
  • warm and waterproof gloves
  • mobile phone turned on with emergency number saved and connected to our geolocation app
  • emergency thermal blanket (min. 2.00 m x 1.40 m)
  • whistle
  • waterproof jacket with hood, Gore-Tex type membrane or equivalent, at least 10,000 Schmerber, suitable for harsh race conditions (it is the responsibility of the athletes to comply with these requirements; during the race, compliance may be checked by judges or stewards according to race rules.)
  • appropriate footwear for running on Dolomite terrain (rocks, stones, gravel)
  • to reduce waste, no disposable tableware will be provided at aid stations or checkpoints (cutlery, cups, plates, bowls), so runners must bring their own utensils and containers if they wish to eat hot or cold food
  • energy bars or solid food
  • minimum €20 for possible food purchases at mountain huts if needed
  • elastic bandage for strapping
  • mineral salts/electrolytes
  • sunglasses
  • warm long-sleeve shirt
  • sunscreen
  • extra layer (fleece, down jacket, etc.) in case of very cold weather.

Hiking poles are allowed.
