As part of the “In-Contaminato” Festival, dedicated to water, sustainability, and the protection of pristine rivers, we’ll be screening the Disney-Pixar film “WALL-E.” The screening is part of the “Cinema eVenti d’estate” summer movie program.
WALL-E is the last robot left on Earth after humans abandoned the planet, leaving it buried in garbage. They forgot to turn him off, so for 700 years he has continued doing the job he was built for: compacting and stacking trash. Then another, more advanced robot named EVE arrives from space, programmed to search for signs of life on Earth. WALL-E follows her onto the spaceship that carries the remaining humans.
