On Friday, June 5 at 6:30 PM, the festival “In-Contaminato – Live, Learn, Protect” opens with an event featuring Cristina Noacco, author of “Living Waters: The River Route Through Friuli Venezia Giulia.” The session will guide audiences in exploring the deep connection between rivers, the landscape, and the communities that live along them, offering a moment of reflection on the value of water as a resource to understand and protect.
This event marks the opening of “In-Contaminato,” a new festival that will run from June through September in Val Resia, featuring talks, conferences, documentary screenings, concerts, and participatory activities dedicated to water, sustainability, and the protection of pristine rivers. The festival was created to raise awareness among residents, families, and young people about the importance of natural resources, promote greater environmental consciousness, and highlight the valley’s remarkable natural and cultural heritage.
