Ramandolo DOCG

A DOCG-labelled wine made from dried Verduzzo grapes. It is characterised by its distinctive golden colour and sweet taste of dried fruit.

Ramandolo is a charming hamlet of Nimis, which a unique microclimate and views. Vines are cultivated on all the ridges, to produce one of the wines symbol of this land: Ramandolo.

It is obtained from dried Verduzzo grapes, and its golden colour and sweet, dry-fruit flavour, make it an excellent wine to try. This DOCG (controlled and guaranteed designation of origin) wine is protected by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Friuli Colli Orientali e Ramandolo.

Further protecting Ramandolo is the Cooperativa Ramandolo di Nimis, which was founded in late 1960 with the aim of promoting this wine in its characteristic of sweet wine. Since 2018, the cooperative has been producing its own grapes and following all the steps of winemaking, proposing a unique label that represents the entire Ramandolo territory.
